Help stress-test a security-first guide to modern cryptography.

Read a focused path—not necessarily the whole book—and report where the definitions, proofs, examples, code, or formats fail you.

Target cohort opening: August 3, 2026. Release gates override dates. Applying does not guarantee selection.

Private-review cover of Modern Cryptography: A Deep Self-Study Guide
Who this is for

Specific readers. Specific failure reports.

We are building a small 8–12 reader cohort across engineering, cryptography, zero knowledge, self-study clarity, localization, and real-device QA.

ENGINEERING

Security and software builders

Review assumptions, state, APIs, protocol integration, key lifecycle, and failure recovery.

CRYPTO / ZK

Specialists and research learners

Attack definitions, reductions, encodings, constraints, public inputs, and verifier boundaries.

READING / FORMAT

Self-study and device testers

Find unclear prerequisites, broken learning flow, EPUB/PDF defects, and zh-TW localization problems.

What accepted readers receive

A focused review package.

  • A named chapter track from the v1.0.0-rc.3 content-complete candidate
  • English canonical edition; selected zh-TW companion review where relevant
  • PDF, EPUB, Markdown, and educational code only as assigned
  • A feedback guide, deadline, support route, and issue severity rubric
  • Material corrections through the Beta window
What we ask

Evidence, not endorsement.

  • Choose one path and commit the hours stated in your application
  • Identify the exact chapter, section, version, device, or code example
  • Describe observed versus expected behavior and reproduction steps
  • Keep private review files and links confidential
  • Submit focused feedback by the August 17 target when selected
Reader tracks

Go deep where you can be specific.

Applicants may choose more than one; accepted readers receive a bounded assignment rather than a 300+ page obligation.

Privacy and confidentiality

Only the information needed to select a useful cohort.

The Zoho form asks for contact details, public technical context, track and device preferences, availability, and separate application/contact/optional quote choices. It does not request a phone number, home address, employer-confidential information, identity documents, financial information, or private keys.

Unaccepted applications are deleted or anonymized by November 15, 2026. Necessary accepted-reader contact and operating data may be kept through August 17, 2027, then deleted or anonymized. Anonymous aggregate statistics may remain without a fixed deletion date.

Application consent is not marketing consent. Read the privacy notice and contact [email protected] for access, correction, consent withdrawal, or deletion.
